This page outlines the specific warranty terms that apply to Front Runner Dometic–branded products.
These terms apply in addition to any statutory consumer rights that may apply in your country.
If you are looking to submit a warranty claim, please return to the warranty form and ensure you have a copy of your original proof of purchase.
WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS:
Subject to the limitations and exclusions described below, Front Runner Dometic will remedy defects in materials or workmanship by, at its discretion:
- Repairing the defective product
- Replacing the defective product
- Issuing a refund equal to the original purchase price
- Issuing a credit toward the purchase of a new Front Runner Dometic product
- Parts and labour for approved warranty remedies are provided at no charge.
ROOF RACKS (5 YEARS):
Front Runner Dometic warrants all Front Runner Dometic Roof Racks for a period of 5 years from the date of original purchase.
Conditions:
- Warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser
- Roof racks must be fitted to a Front Runner Dometic mounting system
- Installation must follow Front Runner Dometic’s recommended fitment instructions
- Warranty remains valid only while the original purchaser owns the product
- Warranty terminates if the product is sold or transferred
- Components used in customised roof rack installations are considered accessories and are covered under the accessories warranty below.
ROOF RACK ACCESSORIES & MOUNTING SYSTEMS (3 YEARS):
Front Runner Dometic warrants all Front Runner Dometic–branded roof rack accessories and rack mounting systems for 3 years from the date of original purchase.
Conditions:
- Warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser
- Accessories must be fitted to a Front Runner Dometic roof rack
- Warranty terminates if the product is sold or transferred
- Warranty terminates if accessories are fitted to any rack other than a Front Runner Dometic roof rack
OTHER FRONT RUNNER MANUFACTURED (2 YEARS)
Front Runner Dometic warrants all other Front Runner Dometic products for 2 years from the date of original purchase.
Conditions:
- Warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser
- Accessories must be fitted to a Front Runner Dometic roof rack
- Warranty terminates if the product is sold or transferred
- Warranty terminates if accessories are fitted to any rack other than a Front Runner Dometic roof rack
OTHER FRONT RUNNER DOMETIC-BRANDED PRODUCTS (2 YEARS)
Front Runner Dometic warrants all other Front Runner Dometic products for 2 years from the date of original purchase.
Conditions:
- Warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser
- Warranty terminates if the product is sold or transferred
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY
This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, tears, or cosmetic damage
- Aesthetic oxidation of surfaces
- Natural fading or breakdown of colours or materials over time
- Commercial use
- Accidents or unlawful vehicle operation
- Modifications or repairs not performed or authorised by Front Runner Dometic
- Misuse, overloading, or abuse
- Failure to assemble, install, or use the product in accordance with Front Runner Dometic’s written instructions or guidelines
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Repair or replacement of a defective product, or the issuance of a refund or credit (as determined by Front Runner Dometic), is the purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this warranty.
Damage to a purchaser’s vehicle, cargo, persons, or other property is excluded.
This warranty is expressly made in place of all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Front Runner Dometic’s sole liability is limited to the remedies described above. In no event shall Front Runner Dometic be liable for lost profits, lost sales, or any consequential, direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
In some countries, product liability or consumer protection legislation may provide additional rights. Where applicable, such statutory rights replace the rights and conditions stated in this warranty.
